I saw this car in the parking lot this afternoon at the post office. I need to meet the person who drives it, as he also works for the university and daily drives it. It isn’t the prettiest, and it isn’t the smoothest running old car out there, but it seems like I need to know this person anyway. Maybe he’d be interested in trading me some beer for a much needed tune up.
In unrelated news, something about the clouds this afternoon promoted me to stop by the best coffee shop and roaster in town for a cup of coffee and a pastry this afternoon. While I frequent this wonderful place all the time, I’m more of the 7:30 in the morning stopping on the way to work crowd. I don’t think I’ve ever been in here at 5:00 in the evening before. Definitely a different crowd, but still seems like all good people.
